Health and Safety
As you know, it takes very little to startle a horse, therefore it is important that the sessions take place in a quiet area of the yard, or even at the quietest time of the day if this is convenient. If the horse's stable is big enough, I will conduct the session in it as this is its most familiar environment.
Please let people at the yard know what I am doing with the horse and ask them to keep their distance and be as quiet as possible around us. Children should be asked not to disturb the horse by petting it during the session. Dogs should be kept away from the area where the session is taking place.
I am always happy to answer questions to people who are interested in what I am doing, but anyone who is not directly connected to the horse should understand that I cannot do this whilst conducting the massage. They are more than welcome to ask questions once I have finished.
